December 1976 I got this fire engine from Nanny Ethel and Grandad Wally for Christmas. When I grow up I’m going to be a fireman. The ladder got stuck and I asked Mummy to help me pull it out, she used her teeth and screamed because she broke her tooth on the ladder....

Today Mummy took me to a school and we were shown around. When we got there we were standing in a corridor and Mummy was talking to a teacher. I looked at the end of the corridor and there were children in a Jim, jumping over boxes in their pants and summersalting....
